Eucharist or Holy Communion is the primary service and is central in the life of Grace Memorial. All baptized Christians, regardless of age or denomination, are welcome to participate and receive the sacrament of the Lord’s Body and Blood at the altar. Our liturgy originates from the 1979 Book of Common Prayer and utilizes Rite II except during Lent and Advent when Rite I is used for its language. The first Sunday of each month is Youth Sunday. In that service young people take on the roles of all lay ministers in the service and a children’s sermon is given at the steps of the chancel.
